There are not only good cops & bad cops...

but also good accountants and bad accountants out there.

The case of Aminurasyid Amzah, the Seremban's Teenager Shooting case, Altantuya, Teoh Beng Hock, Kugan and many others have highlighted the existence of good and bad cops (and other authorities as well).  Well, actually it depends on the perspective you take on the issues.

For instance, in my personal opinion , in the case of Aminurasyid's death, the police are not to be blamed 100 per cent.  It's obviously the combination of sequence of events that enticed the case to take place.  The same goes to the rest in the above list. Jadi, amat kasihan saya melihat abang polis dalam Buletin Utama semalam yang ditahan reman atas tuduhan menembak mati remaja terbabit.  Baca kisahnya di sini.

But for others, such as my favourite Mr. Khoo Kay Peng, they have a totally different view.  Read Mr Khoo and his band of racist followers' opinion here.

Enough said. What I am trying to convey in the beginning of the post was this: "Pentingnya akauntan beretika".  The subject really caught my eyes.  Read full article here.

Mungkin kerana perkembangan terbaru di tempat saya cari makan, tajuk ini agak sensitif tetapi menarik perhatian saya.  And also very true. There are good accountants and bad accountants out there - walking freely (and happily after 'earning' their outstanding bonus due to their 'excellent' conducts) without the feel of guiltiness in their soul.  But still, they are not the worse beings on earth.  The real culprits are - their bosses (and their bosses' bosses'), from whom the instructions came from.  It's complicated, though!

So, look out for these guys (the accountants and their bosses) - and be careful.  They are among us - they look like us, behave like us, act like us - but they don't think like us. Watch out!!
